The Perfect Facade

Pin by Mr Featon on Wistful and Melancholy | Face, Mask photography, Character inspiration

An ordinary room hides many secrets:
Eight people enter, only seven leave.
Amidst the ongoing chaotic weeks,
One quietly slips away.

I just had to write this piece in light of me and my friend attending a really cool 2 day online mystery workshop event last week. By the end of the first day, our brains were completely fried from trying to decode lots of messages and puzzles πŸ˜‚.

Anyways, this poem was also written for this pretty cool challenge hosted by this blogger named Saumya @ Draw-Write-Inspire called the “Write in Style, Write in 21” challenge. The main aim of this challenge is to write either a story or a poem in 21 words and share it with your readers before September 21st. To read more about this fun challenge, click on the above link.

Until then, fellow readers! SS is out for the week.

    1. Thank you so much! 😊
I’m sure you can do it as well!
Yeah, it was cool alright. It mostly included decoding of messages in different codes like Morse code, and some picture based questions for which we had to come up with theories.

In short, it was fun and challenging at the same time πŸ˜‚
